Missing meetings due to the weather, and then attending meetings is making me Bipolar I think.

without divulging too much information about myself, i'm on the east coast, up north.

we've been hammered by snow storms, and from what i hear we've got another one on the way tommorrow night.

this month, i've missed 4 meetings total.

I always felt like that. I thought it was me. There had to be something wrong with me which just made my depression and self hate worse.

What I really hated was being a elders wife and having to wait for the very long elders meetings and all the clicks. I was never in a click. All the cool elders wives were together and I was always sitting by myself. I felt so stupid and my husband would tell me to try harder. How do you make people like you? I was never one to gossip and so I was left out. I tired and tired to break in but I could never do it.

I hated sitting in the car for hours sometimes as the other wives would drive each other home but not me. I was to much scum to ride in their car plus the gas it would take to take me home. I would sometimes offer to even pay them to drive me home but no I was not good enough for them.

I hated the meetings, I hated being alone with tons of people around me.

this couple in our hall an elder and his wife gave us a anniversary gift.

it is a wall hanging that says "as for me and my household sister life is to short and hubby will worship jehovah forever.".

i felt i should send her a thank you card even though i hate the gift.

I need to know what to think of this. This couple in our hall an elder and his wife gave us a anniversary gift. It is a wall hanging that says "As for me and my household Sister Life is to short and hubby will worship Jehovah forever."

Well I sent her a card and told her that I was sorry I was not able to attend meetings anymore because of the two child molesters in the hall and the strict policy of not telling parents that child rapist are holding and dancing with babies in the KH with the elders not doing a dang thing to stop it. How I was threatened with being DF'ed by the attorney elder if I did not shut up, and how mad the CO was at me because the other elders wives were snooping in their husbands emails, and had read email I had sent them asking why pedophiles were running free out in service and such at the meetings. So apparently some of the wives have talked and so it is getting around that there are two child molesters in the hall and since I am the only one who see a problem with it I am in the wrong.

So this elders wife totally ignored what I wrote about the men who had raped children and instead she sends this letter talking about this wonderful Bible study she has with this woman who is in her 70's and has a son who is mentally ill, his daughter who is totally screwed up and has two children who are 3 and 4 years old who the granddaughter is not able to take care of and now this lady in her 70's is going to try to raise these two great grandkids. Like she did so good with her son and granddaughter. Now she has two new children to ruin.

Then she sent me this story that was in the Reader's Digest about this kid who was working in a lodge in Sierra Nevada in 1959 and his boss feed him and the crew only wieners and sauerkraut for a whole week and made them pay for it to boot. Well he was pissed and so he went to his bosses boss and complained. His bosses boss was a survivor of Auschwitz so he told this kid "You think you know everything, but you don't know the difference between in inconvenience and and problem. If you break you neck, if you have nothing to eat, if you house is on fire-then you got a problem. Everything else is inconvenience. Life is inconvenient. Life is lumpy. Learn to separate the inconveniences from the real problems. You will live longer. And will not annoy people like me so much. Good night." This kid said Seldom in my life have I been hit between the eyes so hard with the truth. There in the late-night darkness of a Sierra Nevada inn this man simultaneously kicked my butt and opened a window in my mind.

So my questions is WTF does this have to do with being threatened with being DFed for telling parents that their children are in danger or that wonderful study of hers, the two great grandkids are in danger. One of the child rapist in the hall spent ten year in prison, plus ten years on parole and was declared an incurable sexual psychopath. I have the court records to prove it but her elder husband will not read them he only wants to think happy thoughts about this child rapist. So what does this have to do with eating wieners and sauerkraut and how is this an inconvenience?

Then this elders wife ended her letter with a promise of to tell me about her "funny experience at the cemetery." I cannot wait.

So my question am I wrong to be ticked at this stupid letter. What do you say to something so stupid?

How in the world do these people justify hiding child rapist? How?

being very interested in psychology i read a book as a teenager and re-read it last year called " gestalt therapy verbatim " by frederick perls m.d.

it deals with dreamwork therapy in which he conducted seminars helping people to re-connect with subconscious parts of themselves by recounting their dreams .

Also I must add as a child there were mice and rats everywhere in the homes I grew up in. The elders knew it. CPS was called in a lot and no one did a damed thing to help me. So in the dream where the PO was so pissed at my husband I was so mad. I said where were you when I was a kid you Knew what I lived in all the filth and you did not help me then why?. The PO turned it on me and said what good would it have done you are no better then your parents you are just a horrible person look at how dirty you are now. I was screaming I am not who my parents are and he said you will never change. It was a horrible dream.

In real life I am not a dirty person in fact this PO's wife in real life thinks I have OCD because I try to keep thing so clean it makes her mad. She is always telling me I am too germ forbic.

I have not had the time to read this as I have been very busy and not sleeping well.

And yes it is because of dreams, very strange dreams.

I had one Friday night were I was at the memorial and the attorney elder was giving the talk. He was dressed in a dirty white button down shirt and torn jeans. I was really upset with how stupid he looked and this pioneer sister was very mad at me said he was dressing like that to get the young people to stay in the truth.

Well the memorial went on and we were all told not to turn around and just to keep looking forward, it seems a couple the pioneer sister was studying with died in the back of the hall. CDC was there and was going to keep everyone locked in the hall as they did not know why they had died. Turn out the man was molesting kids and had a horrible VD. So we were all free to go but the pioneer sister was very upset at the poor old man. I was so upset and then I woke up.

The next night in my dream the attorney elder who is in his mid 50's and his wife is in her late 40's had a daughter. It could not happen in real life. The child was born then the next meeting the little girl was three and half years old. Grew fast. Her name was Julian Mcguggle what there last name is. I remember the name so clear. I asked the wife why they named her Mcguggle and if that was family name. The wife said oh no it was the prison where I met my husband. I said was he working as an attorney there at the prison. She said no he was there for molesting kids. I again woke up very upset.

We are putting in a new furnace and we have had to move some of our things around in the basement. I have boxes everywhere. Well in my dream Monday night the COBE or former PO came to our house and flipped out that I had boxes of food outside said rats and mice were going to get into them. He was just screaming at my husband for not being the head of our house and keeping me in line. I was thinking who are you for being at my house and telling me what to do plus the food was not outside but when I looked it was. I clearly remember putting it in the basement. I again work up very upset.

Then last night as also last week I have had dreams where I am again trapped in the homes I grew up in where I was molested and raped. Last night I was trying to get out and I just could not do it. All the creeps from my childhood were there and no one saw that they were bad. One man was so stoned and I was so scarred, I felt just like I did as a kid and I woke up just screaming for him to get away. I tried to get in my car to drive away but it was raining and there was mud everywhere and he had blocked the driveway. So I tried to go around and got stuck and was running from my car. But these were all people who were going to the meetings and that I knew as a kid. In my dream last night one of the elder from my childhood was remarried to a woman who looked just like if wife expect she was not his wife. I was thinking who are you and she said well his first wife died but he married me because I look just like her. I said does that not creep you out. I mean you could be his first wife's twine. She was not I am good with it.

I am exhausted by my dreams. The one last night makes for the fifth bad dream in a week and it is all with elders and child molesters in them.

See I was rapped and molested as a kid but I thought just by my parents and their crazy friends but who knows. I just know I am really tired and very late for work. So again forgive my spelling errors.

The end is nigh!

after a year of having been out and 7 months on jwn, i like to think that i'm pretty well deprogrammed.. one thing i still have trouble with though is the mental attitude of thinking that the end is coming soon.

difficult to explain this, but its like a mental awareness that is always there no matter what.. and of course the end is not coming, i just don't know how to get my brain to realise this?!?

I too have trouble with this. I know the end is not close and in fact I was talking with an older sister who is 85 and in really bad health. She is a pioneer they have let her stay on the list but she cannot go out in service because her body is old and she is in so much pain.

But of course in the WT world that is not excuse and so she beats herself up even though she says she knows Jehovah understands. She was still crying over the fact that she just cannot do the work.

Then she said you know the systems end is so close, of course she wants to think that because she is dying. This has been her hope all of her life. Her kids were not supposed to go to school now she has great grandkids in school.

Anyway I fell right back into saying yes I know the system is so close to ending. I was thinking to myself WTF how can I be saying this????? But a huge part of me wanted to believe it. I was blown away by how much of me wanted to believe it.

It is so sad. We have been lied to for so long. I look at that old sister and want to cry. What a wast of a life. She still drags herself out in service in pain door to door. Her doctor told her riding in a car and getting in and out of it is hurting her back and not to do it but she just has to because Jehovah is demanding it of her. What a hateful God is that????????

We have such a short time of life and what a waste when all we do is wish it away hopping that this systems end is close. I look at the old sister, she was in her 20's when she became a JW and now????? No new system for her she will die in this world with a wasted life. How unbelievably sad.

URGENT Advice Needed

hey everyone!.

i will be going into the hospital for surgery on tues...my first one ever!

the surgeon has gone over the procedure and informed me that it's 'bloody' and so she gave me all my options.

Hi just wanted wish you all the best. The other ones posted very good advice.

My parents were just like yours. It is hard, we all want our parents to care about us. It hurts, it really hurts that they can be like this. I am truly sorry.

Hurry and get well and let us all know as soon as you can that you are doing OK.

The GB at Bethel know that.

one thing i found interesting is that we may die in this system.

Also this CO came into the "truth" when he was early 20's. He is the only one in his family who is a JW. His dad was so mad and upset. Cut him off everything and from what I understand his dad had a ton of money. He cut the CO out of his will and left him with nothing.

Now this CO is pushing the age of 50 and has no savings or nothing set aside for the future. Nothing period! And he brags about it saying "Jehovah will provide when he is old he is setting the example for the young ones in the hall" Oh please!!!! Do not plan for the future leave it to Jehovah to take care of you he said at the last CA.

I wonder what he will be saying in 20 years?

I will never feel sorry for him but I am sure we all will be taking care of him through state help.

It is so maddening.

Elder uses Congregation Bible Study as an opportunity to ban the movie Avatar

last night, during the congregation bible study, the conductor (overseer?

) used this as a platform to say that the movie avatar is of satan and no christians should see it.. .

he said that he googled the (original) meaning of the word avatar and it was of hindu religious origin.

One thing I found interesting is that we may die in this system. He said when he first learned the "truth" he just knew for sure that the system would end before he was baptized and he was so stressed out from it. "He went through the questions in April and was not to be dunked until June and every morning he would wake up and run to the window to make sure that the system had not ended." I found his use of the word dunked offensive for some reason also. Really flip. But he said the word "dunked."

He then said "how many here have felt that way." We might have grown up in the "truth" and 'have been told we would not graduate high school and for sure you would not get married, and definitely we would not have children in this system. Then we did get married and have children but we felt our children Definitely would not go to school and would Definitely not graduate high school and very Definitely not get married and have children. Now not only our children but our grandchildren are getting married and having children.'

The CO said does this mean that Jehovah's Witnesses were wrong? NO!!! Jehovah is not slow with what he promised (Habakkuk 2:3).

The CO then said that we all need to live each day like the system is going to end tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So what about all the window washers who have no savings, no health insurance, who have horrible health because of eating so bad because of not having enough money to buy good food. What is Jehovah going to do for all the 60's and 70's year old people who gave their youth for the cause?

And like the CO said to all the young on Sunday give your lives to Jehovah now!!!! Are they not looking at their parents, grandparents and others who gave everything and have nothing? And yet many in the hall are pioneering and still quitting school not even graduating high school so that they can pioneer and they definitely will not go to college.

How crazy and sad is all of this is this?
